Job title: Compliance Officer Baltics

We are seeking for a Compliance Officer Baltics to join the IKEA Retail Baltic organization. You will be a member of Risk and Compliance team, responsible for ensuring corporate governance and control, proactive risk management, sustainable and responsible business practices implementation in our retail organizations in all 3 Baltic markets: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Your role as Compliance Officer will be to ensure that company operates in line with laws, internal policies and ethical standards across 3 markets by preventing, detecting and advising on compliance risks.

What you will be doing:

• Compliance management, monitoring of implementation and control; regulatory readiness.

• Owning internal control framework: regulatory compliance, internal compliance, fraud control, internal investigations.

• Policy governance: develop compliance policies, hold an overview of totality of company policies, identify policy gaps and initiate updates.

• Owning speak up platform: ensuring that working method is up to date, leading of Baltic and complex investigations, overview from risks perspective.

• Conducting training in organization within the area of responsibilities.

• Sanction screening implementation overview, reporting, control implementation.

• At least three years’ relevant experience as a Compliance officer or auditor and have an University Degree

• Have a good analytical capability and pay attention to detail.

• You are ready to take the responsibility and are self-motivated.

• Communicate in a clear and simple way.

• You maintain perspective and resilience even in hectic circumstances.

• You have the ability to work as part of a team and build trustful relations with colleagues.

• Ability to work in national language (Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian) and English knowledge.(English language requirements are based on the employer's international environment to ensure continued collaboration within the international team and to facilitate project performance).
